Gocator 1300 Series Smart Laser Sensors

Gocator 1300 Series Smart Laser Sensors

The Gocator 1300 Series Smart Laser sensors are the next generation of high speed (32kHz) distance measuring devices. Compact and light weight, Gocators are simple to network and integrate. These sensors are ruggedly designed to handle industrial applications and are ready to use for your most demanding on-line inspection applications, right out of the box.

Use Gocator laser point profile sensors for high-speed dimensional measurements (e.g. surface roughness, object thickness) in closed-loop automation systems.

• Pre-calibrated and ready to measure
• Scalable to a synchronized multiple sensor network
• Small footprint
• Height measurement resolutions down to 0.4 micron
• Max height measurement up to 2 meters
• Extremely high speed sensing and measurements, up to 32kHz

When starting a new 3D vision project, In-Position Technologies engineers start by reviewing the key requirements to determine the optimum 3D sensor for the job. They perform all necessary engineering calculations to make sure the vision system performs as required, within customer specification, and without unnecessary cost. They will also recommend the appropriate cables, fixturing, and add-on accessories to make system installation as smooth as possible.

This includes:

• Determine what measurements will be required
• Ensuring field of view and scan precision is adequate
• Calculating needed scan rate for desired throughput
• Verifying mounting compatibility, form factor checks, etc…
• Ensuring all necessary accessories are also specified

When ordering Gocator 1300 Series Smart Laser sensors as a part of a full system, IP Tech engineers review the solution to ensure:

• All parts and accessories necessary for a complete working solution are included
• All components have been checked and verified to work together as a system
• The selected components will perform as required by the project specifications
