Copley Stepnet Series
The Copley Stepnet series is available in compact DC-powered PCB-mounted packages. The pin version stepper drives allow OEMs to select the required interface circuits and connectors to mount the drives on their own PCBs. These drives are optimized for size, cost and performance. Microstepping with the drives delivers smooth, low-resonance performance. In Servo Mode, with encoder feedback, stepper motors run quietly and can operate at higher speeds without stalling.

When starting a new servo project, In-Position Technologies engineers start by reviewing the key requirements to determine the optimum drive and motor for the job. They perform all necessary engineering calculations to make sure the motor performs as required, within customer specification, and without unnecessary cost. They will also recommend the appropriate motors and feedback that will best fit the customer application.
This includes:
• Ensuring drive will meet motor current and voltage requirements
• Validating compatibility with the motor, feedback and controller
• Verifying mounting compatibility, form factor checks, etc…
• Ensuring all necessary accessories are also specified
When ordering Copley Stepnet Series stepper drives as a part of a full system, IP Tech engineers review the solution to ensure:
• All parts and accessories necessary for a complete working solution are included
• All components have been checked and verified to work together as a system
• The selected components will perform as required by the project specifications
