It’s compact dimensions house features normally only associated with higher specification drives, including Safe Torque Off, Ethernet communications, sensorless vector mode for control of both Permanent Magnet (PMAC) and AC induction motors and a full 150 % overload for 1 minute, AC15 provides an optimized solution for OEM machine builders looking for a compact, cost-effective drive without compromising on performance.

Features/Benefits:

• Easy to configure with free Parker DSELite software tool
• Onboard Ethernet port for programming and Modbus TCPIP communications
• Clear an intuitive keypad for local setup and control
• No complex options/configurators – all features available in the base inverter

When starting a VSD motor project, In-Position Technologies engineers start by reviewing the key requirements to determine the optimum VSD for the job. They perform all necessary engineering calculations to make sure the VSD performs as required, within customer specification, and without unnecessary cost.

This includes:

• Motor torque, speed, and inertia matching
• Ensuring compatibility with the motor drive and available power
• Specifying the appropriate feedback device, encoder (incremental vs. absolute), resolver, etc…
• Verifying mounting compatibility, form factor checks, etc…
• Ensuring all necessary accessories are also specified

When ordering Parker AC15 Variable Speed Drives as a part of a full system, IP Tech engineers review the solution to ensure:

• All parts and accessories necessary for a complete working solution are included
• All components have been checked and verified to work together as a system
• The selected components will perform as required by the project specifications
