MQ-8 LiDAR Sensor

The MQ-8 LiDAR Sensor is the next generation of Quanergy’s 3D LiDAR Flow Management sensors. Part of Quanergy’s Flow Management™ Platform, the MQ-8 Series meets the unique challenges of flow management applications that require accurate, high-volume people and vehicle tracking in the security, smart city, social distancing, and smart spaces industries.

• Detection Range: When paired with QORTEX DTC, it detects, tracks and classifies up to 250 objects at 10% reflectivity
• 10X-20X lower TCO: MQ-8 expanded coverage requires much fewer sensors than cameras
• Angular resolution: 0.03-0.13º depending on frame rate
• Automated ID Handover: Continuous ID tracking across entire systems such as shopping malls, airports, etc.
• Industry Leading Coverage Area: A single sensor can cover up to 15,000 m2 area
