Solution Overview

This application features a Universal Robots UR7e tending a TYKMA Electrox MiniLase laser marker, supported by automated barcode job selection, mark verification, and a customized TSLOTS workstation.

The result is a compact, repeatable, and operator-friendly laser marking workflow.

Key System Features

1. Barcode Job Selection

A Datalogic Matrix120 scanner instantly selects the correct laser program—no manual setup, reduced errors.

2. Robot–Laser Integration

The UR7e communicates directly with the TYKMA MiniLase for job selection, door control, and cycle start/finish, ensuring smooth, consistent operation.

3. Automated Mark Verification

The Matrix120 also verifies each laser mark for accuracy before the part moves downstream.

4. Custom TSLOTS Workstation

A TSLOTS aluminum frame provides clean cable routing, adjustable mounting, and a rigid base for repeatable robot performance.
