AC10 Variable Frequency Drives

AC10 Variable Frequency Drives

AC10 Variable Frequency Drives are a simple, reliable and economical solution to every-day motor control applications requiring speed or torque control within the power range of 0.25 HP to 250 HP, with NEMA 4X indoor/IP66 version available through 125 HP. Having features normally only associated with higher specification drives, including sensorless vector mode, output frequency up to 590 Hz, and a full 150% overload at 0.5 Hz for 1 minute, AC10 provides an optimized solution for OEM machine builders looking for a compact, cost-effective drive without compromising on performance. The AC10 is suitable for either AC induction or permanent magnet AC motor designs.

Simple or enhanced performance
• Simple V/Hz control for general energy saving applications
• Enhanced auto-tuning sensorless vector control providing higher dynamic performance for applications requiring greater speed or torque accuracy

All at the touch of a button
• Standard ergonomic keypad providing full access to all drive functions
• 4 LEDs provide instant indication of drive status
• Remote mountable keypad option for ease of setup and operation
• Simple out of the box operation thanks to integrated macros and quick start guide

Choice of operating voltages
• 230V single and three phase input up to 20 HP
• 480V three phase input from 0.25 HP through 250 HP

When starting a VFD motor project, In-Position Technologies engineers start by reviewing the key requirements to determine the optimum VFD for the job. They perform all necessary engineering calculations to make sure the VFD performs as required, within customer specification, and without unnecessary cost.

This includes:

• Motor torque, speed, and inertia matching
• Ensuring compatibility with the motor drive and available power
• Specifying the appropriate feedback device, encoder (incremental vs. absolute), resolver, etc…
• Verifying mounting compatibility, form factor checks, etc…
• Ensuring all necessary accessories are also specified

When ordering Parker AC10 Variable Frequency Drives as a part of a full system, IP Tech engineers review the solution to ensure:

• All parts and accessories necessary for a complete working solution are included
• All components have been checked and verified to work together as a system
• The selected components will perform as required by the project specifications
