Mecademic Valve Box

Mecademic Valve Box

The Mecademic Valve Box is the innovative solution to control the airflow to your pneumatic end effector or pneumatic tool changer of your MECA500 robot. It is powered, and connected via the port on the MECA500 robot, just like the MEGP25 Gripper. It also uses the same command as the MEGP25 Gripper, which will activate the pneumatic valve inside the Mecademic Valve Box. The Mecademic Valve Box is a BOLT-ON solution, ready to be mounted onto your MECA500 and will come with all the required hardware. You will no longer need to use an external pneumatic controller (with its own wiring and I/O), which simplifies your hardware configuration and saving cost at the same time.

• Light and Compact
• Simplifies hardware configuration
• Simplifies control configuration

When starting a new robot automation project, In-Position Technologies engineers begin by reviewing the essential requirements to determine the optimum accessories need for the robot to perform the job. They perform all necessary engineering assessments to make sure the robot and its accessories perform as required, within customer specifications, and without unnecessary cost. They will also recommend the appropriate controllers, a vacuum source, a power supply, and a sensor that fits the application.

This includes:

• Payload, reach, speed, cycle time, and repeatability requirement
• Ensuring compatibility with the current system
• Specifying the appropriate feedback device (sensors, vision system, torque sensor)
• Verifying mounting compatibility, form factor checks, etc.
• Ensuring all necessary auxiliary equipment are also specified

When ordering the Mecademic Valve Box as a part of a full system, IP Tech engineers review the solution to ensure:

• All parts and fittings necessary for a complete working solution are included
• All components have been checked and verified to work together as a system
• The selected components will perform as required by the project specifications
